The décor of the dining room is emphasised by the modern, large patterned, floral wallpaper motif punctuated by theatrical clear Perspex framed paintings and Venetian mask wall lights. Silver, Weimeraner brown and white are the key colours of the stylish deVille Restaurant.

deVigne Bar
The glorious surroundings and vibrant colours of red, yellow, green and silver in deVigne Bar make this a truly fabulous place which is rarely found in London these days. Whether you are in need of a refreshing cocktail after a hard afternoon’s shopping or a stiff whisky after a gruelling meeting, you will be able to relax in style. Warm and ambient, deVigne Bar offers a most imaginative cocktail list, created by the in-house mixologist as well as an extensive whisky list which has been supervised by spirit writer and broadcaster, Ian Wisniewski.

deVigne Bar is open between 11.00am – 12.00am Monday to Saturday and Sunday between 5.00pm – 10.30pm.

Introducing the latest in fashion lifetsyle trends, the Mandeville is serving a "Fashion Tea for Two" served on Zandra Rhodes crockery in the deville Restaurant. Think pink as you munch on gorgeous finger sandwiches, scones and clotted cream, and the most delicious cakes and treats; elegantly presented on Zandra's new fashion bone china series and complemented by dutsy pink and cream table cloths. Fashion has never tasted so good.

The Mandeville Hotel is located just off Wigmore Street and is gloriously situated between two of London’s most famous historical large parks, Regents Park and Hyde Park, which promise acres of green land. Ideal for summer walks, riding, Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre, tennis, golf, concerts and picnics. Nearest London Underground station is Bond Street. On Sunday I checked in to The Mandeville unannounced in order to sample their hospitality for myself. Bookings for this new hotel have gone crazy and I wanted to know why. On arrival we were quickly and efficiently checked in, then went straight to the room. We booked the Deluxe double room for £149, non-smoking with a mini bar. I expected the rooms to be a little small, but reasonable by London standards, well appointed and stylishly furnished. I wasn’t disappointed. It was fitted out extremely well and the choice of colours and textures I really liked. I specifically requested a room with a minibar as I knew not all the rooms had them as yet, however they are being introduced slowly. I love minibars, and the site of this one threw me once again into a frenzy. I swung the minibar door open to find it completely empty. Reception apologised without hesitation and arranged another room. Satisfied with this I asked if they had any larger rooms available and they suggested the Junior Suite at a £30 supplement. We were whisked to our new room. Money extremely well spent. The room was twice the size and had a sofa and 2 armchairs. Style was similar, but somehow being able to stand back a little this room looked more fantastic than the last, and had a king size bed. It was a room I could spend some time in, but unfortunately didn’t have much to spare, as the local restaurants beckoned. The location is great to explore the mini-restaurant strip of James Street and St Christopher’s Place. Spanish, Lebanese, Italian, Thai, it's all within a few metres. Two minutes from the hotel you hit Oxford Street, right opposite designer South Molton Street - ouch! Overall I really enjoyed the stay. I think it is very good value for money and recommend upgrading to the Junior Suite for the extra £30 (£179 inc tax). However the Standard and Deluxe rooms will still give you a taste of what The Mandeville has to offer, and are a bit of a bargain. Well done Mandy!
