The staff were wonderful - very helpful! Our room was lovely and clean and perfect for us lot! Many thanks! The only problem we had was the toilet door in the bedroom did not shut and there was no lock on the other bathroom door

What a very good hotel in a prime location. We were troubled by children running up and down the corridor after 2300hrs, only troubled the Mrs, as I use earplugs. Will be back if we can get the same good deal.

fantastic location and very nice hotel. spent 2 nights in a club double room. room very comfortable and clean and bathroom had a huge bath! hotel facilities very good. staff friendly and helpful. breakfast lovely and very good value. would definately stay again.

stayed here in may 2003. club double room. lovely room, very clean. bath fantastic, deep, loads of hot water and i could lay down in it! staff friendly and helpful, breakfast fantastic amenities good, location excellent. NOTE the hotel didnt have 24 hr room service as advertised but apart from this great value and would recommend to anyone.

Once again had a lovely stay at the Strand Palace.Our room was spotless,the staff are friendly and helpful,breakfasts are superb.Will definitely stay here again.

This was my second stay, the room was small but clean. Only complaint was that we were on the fourth floor which was being renovated and had not been informed of this prior to arrival. It made for a bleak walk to the room. Breakfast was plentiful, although some things were cold. Would stay again as first stay I couldn't fault at all.

Stayed for 1 night Tuesday 26th November - 10 of us - single rooms on the small side, but huge bathrooms. All rooms were very, clean, confortable and quiet. We had an evening meal in the Cavery - fantastic value and great choice fresh food - abundance and help yourself. And Breakfast the next morning was a real treat - overdosed on food - great catering with friendly staff. Exceptional location.

EXCELLENT. Especially the breakfast. English Buffet was the best i ever had, Room-service was more then excellent, it was on time and delicious, the young man who delivered it was extremely friendly. Will come back.

Stayed in Room 801 on December 13. Room very good, except water in bathroom almost cold in morning! Our friends in 207 report the same problem. This was really not good enough. Very long lines to checkout on Sunday morning. Otherwise, excellent value.

I took my American guests to London over the Remeberance weekend , on their return to the United States their comment was that they would recomend the hotel to their friends . I think that says it all . First classs .

Fifth stay at the Strand Palace Hotel. Appreciate the excellent location of this hotel and will definitely come back. One bad point: it was a bit cold in the bathroom.

Excellent location, but rooms were shabby and 'tired' looking (eg. missing curtain pelmet, scruffy & stained bed linen, bathroom was not clean, toilet did not flush properly). Also quite cold - no heating on in the rooms at all. Breakfast was appalling - not a single item on the Full English buffet was hot (shame, because the selection of food offered looked excellent, but it was all stone cold!).

Excellent Position. Efficient Service for a big Hotel. Breakfast tea was too strong and not really hot! Rooms were very hot in warm weather.

Fourth stay at the Strand Palace Hotel (certainly not the last one). See my previous reviews. I appreciate more and more its excellent location, close to many attractions.

Second stay at the Strand Palace Hotel (certainly not the last one). . Excellent location (near main attractions and Waterloo International Train Station). . Confortable rooms, delicious breakfast -> Great value for money

Although rooms small, found the place so delightful I have booked for my upcoming visit in February. Could use better TV channel connections on their cable, but the price is right, atmosphere and staff wonderful!

stayed in single room for 4 nights... was on 2nd or 3rd floor (can't remember exactly) and didn't have problems with noise like previous poster did. The only problem I had though was that I liked to sleep in until mid afternoon, and despite the do not disturb sign on the door, almost everyday someone (housekeeping i'm guessing) walked into the room (after 12pm, and then left), which woke me up... but, other than that, i was very happy with the room (decent size bathroom, and nice clean room otherwise)... included breakfast was very good... hotel location was also extremely good... price was also extremely good as well... very happy overall... i'll certainly consider returning in the future

I had to stay there for 9 nights and although it was alright, there were many horible experiences. The breakfast was the same thing day after day and got quite boring and bland. The hotel staff robbed my tour guide and my mother. Lock up your stuff in this place.

Excellent location and great value for money. Would be good for theatre trips or general siteseeing. Large hotel but not impersonal service. Would have liked biscuits with tea and coffee provided in room but minor detail! Rooms at front of hotel can be noisy but this is London and is a city that never sleeps so drink wine and enjoy. Will definitely come again.

Great offer first of all, however, the rooms tiny!. Was told that breakfast started at 6.30am, nevertheless, when I came down Sunday morning the 30th. december 2001 for a quick inc. breakfast I was told that on Sundays breakfast was not served before 7am. Very bad service from staff in general, since I work in a hotel myself!.

Took a last minute deal - excellent price inc. breakfast. Single room was on the top floor next to a noisy airconditioning plant. However, room was clean and well appointed if a little small. Overall, good value for money in an excellent location

This hotel is great value for money, considering the location and the facilities. Ideal for a short stay or theatre break. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be visiting again.
